What's Up Wednesday?

I'm not very good at coupon shopping.  I think it's because you have to "plan" and well, I'm not so good at planning anything these days, but I did it today!  I really needed some Tide and printed out some coupons.  Well, Target has buy two bags of Pods and get a $5.00 giftcard!  The pods are on sale for $9.99 and you can print out $2.00 off coupons online!

I also printed out a coupon for Olay because I'm running out!  Target had a sign up saying buy one get one 40% off...so that was great!  However, when I got up to the cashier it didn't ring up that it was on sale.  I'm not sure if the sign was suppose to be up or not, but they gave it to me anyway.

I always use Neutrogena cleansing towelettes so I picked those up today too because they were buy one and get one 25% off.

We always need diapers, so I was smart today and printed off a coupon for Pampers :)
Over the weekend, I went to Cold Stone Creamery and the Loft!
The salted caramel ice cream was yummy!

I had a $20 reward card from Loft and the store was 40% off everything.  I ended up getting this rustic brick sweater and it's so soft!!  I can't wait to wear it this Fall/Winter!  It looks like it's still on sale HERE!

Pumpkin Spice and everything nice!

   I haven't blogged in a while, so I thought I'd do a little update....
The picture above is one Emily took this afternoon...she's so good with a camera!
Hailey got a new pair of Stride Rite shoes today!

Emily had to do an Ocean Wave Erosion project ~ so we went out to the Beach so she could take some pictures.  She hasn't gotten her grade back on it, but I hope she did well on it.

Emily took this cool picture with a dolphin, bird flying, and pelican while we were at Tybee!

I've been putting some hair-bow clips together to donate to church for Novemberfest!

Emily has been a good helper this month....cutting grass & helping with the baby!

BUT....she's not always an angel :)

I went to Target with the Girls (Emily & Hailey) and I found my Halloween costume...a glow in the dark tee!

I also found a soft cute plaid tunic....I think I'll be in PLAID all Fall.

Chips & Cheese Dip....shopping made us hungry!

Well....This little stinker is always t r o u b l e....but we love her so!
That's her face when I asked her, "Where's your nose?"

Hailey received a new high chair ....she fell out of the old one (didn't get hurt)...the old chair pad is on it in this picture because I was seeing if it'd fit on the new chair.
This chair has a tray that she can't pull off like the old one!

This girl is wearing MY old pjs!!
She's decided she's going to grow her hair out long now too!

ME in the pjs :)

Van has been doing well, but never wants me to take his picture :(
I guess he thinks I take pictures that might embarrass him??
He's a cutie and will always be my first little baby :)

To be FAIR....here's another cutie!

Hmm...another baby needs a bath robe!  Christmas Idea!  What? 2 months away...YIKES!

 I'm so OLD :)
The sad thing is that I don't remember this cookie cake at all!!

It's September!

Our days are pretty busy, but here's a look at what's been happening...

Elmo is still a big deal at our house.
I often wish I had Elmo on CD for when she gets upset in the car, but I haven't taken it that far yet!

We watched a few redbox movies.
We do not have Netflix, but pick up redbox movies from time to time.

I didn't have any make-up brushes and got a set the other day...they're great!
The brand I got is called "Real Techniques" and you can find them at Walgreen's.

I decided to try out Gel polish...I tried the "Essie" brand I picked up at Target and the "Sally Hansen" brand my Mom had at her house.  I have never had the real "gel" stuff before so I can't compare it to that at all.  I don't like painting my nails and I am not very good at it either! It's hard to do your own nails isn't it? The Sally Hansen polish dried really fast, but the Essie seems to last longer. I did have the polish peal off when I put too much polish on, but when I redid them I didn't have that problem. They are both easy to take off, with just regular nail polish remover.  They both worked well, but I favor the Essie brand.

I had been looking to try new recipes before my Dad passed away this year, but I just haven't done anything new yet for my Deborah's Dishes Blog. I'm not sure why other than it can be expensive to try new recipes at times and I haven't seen any that make me want to try it out either.  I did make some old recipes this week...none of which the kids like...Chicken Tetrazzini and homemade Mac & Cheese.

However... Ice Cream has been a winner around here!

I got my hair cut...it's funny how fast your hair can get out of shape.

I finally have a "real" watch!  Anyone who knows ME....knows I have an extremely difficult time reading watches or clocks in public because of my dyslexia.  I'm so tried of having ugly digital watches (all my life)...so I decided to try wearing an analog one. Since I've gotten older I've learned not to care so much about being embarrassed over it.  The problem is that when I get "stressed" (someone asks me what time it is)...my dyslexia gets worse and I can't tell you what time it is...if I'm not nervous I can do it.
It's strange how it works!

Emily got crafty this week and made bracelets out of toothbrushes with her Meema!

I can't believe it's already September!
We've been so busy with school and activities that it's been hard to make the time to blog.

My goals for September!

Try to get things together so I can Scrapbook at church next month.

Drink more water!

Skincare (wash face with Soniclear at night)

Be Happy :)
